Will the injections provide benefit?

Yes! Benefits are experienced differently by everyone. Some experience decreased pain, elevated mood, improved sleep after injections while others experience benefits after a series of injections.

Are there any side effects to the injections? 

​

Very rarely injections cause a mild headache and some soreness at the injection site. Injection is with the smallest needle in the back of the arm or belly fat, similar to a diabetic injection. 

​

How will I feel during an infusion? 

​

Everyone has a different NAD infusion experience. Its varies based on the amount and type of healing your body needs. Some experience feelings of elevated mood and euphoria. Often times individuals experience a slight runny nose during the infusion. This is often followed by a feeling of cleared nasal passages.

 

When the infusion is ran fast some can experience the chills, chest pressure, anxiety, head pressure, and gut cramping. Some describe it as the drunken spins. If at any time you are uncomfortable during your infusion we can slow it down. 

 

 

Are there any side effect to the infusions?

Individuals may experience the chills, body aches, and tiredness immediately following they're infusion. This can be correlated to the body healing itself and the detox processes it's undergoing. There is often a swift shift to a positive experience within 24-48 hours. For those undergoing the anti-aging protocol or an intensive will pain medicine available to them if pain is troublesome.

How will I feel after an infusion? 

​

Infusions are experienced different for everyone. Afterwards, most report improved sleep, increased energy, elevated mood, increased mental clarity and sense of well-being. It is normal to experience decreased pain. Occasionally there are reports of improved eyesight. 

​

Why do the infusions take longer than vitamin infusions? 

​

Higher doses of NAD can take longer as the body is undergoing so much repair. When the infusions are sped up the body gets so excited and moves into repair mode and the undesirable feelings can be experienced. Despite being uncomfortable these undesirable feelings are safe. 

​

Can I speed up my high dose infusions? 

​

Depending on your health goals infusions can be sped up as tolerated. Men often tolerate NAD infusions much better than women. Those with chronic illness and mental health struggles may suffer emotionally as well as experience body aches and chills if sped up.

If I do an intensive, will I need to come back for follow up infusion? 

​

Yes. Follow up infusions will be recommended based on individual needs. We typically recommend a follow up infusion of 250 mg within two weeks of your intensive, then monthly, and then quarterly to maintain your improved sense of well-being.

Are there oral forms on NAD that I can take? 

​

Yes, however there are oral supplements of NAD, however the bioavailability is very limited having to pass through the gut. They are not recommended. However, if you have completed an intensive supplementation with a nasal spray may be recommended.

Is there anyone that can not have an NAD infusion?

​

NAD infusions are extremely save and there are no known contraindications. However, those that are undergoing cancer treatment must obtain clearance from their oncologist. At this time, we are not infusing NAD to pregnant women.

I have brain fog, will NAD help? 

​

YES! NAD can be extremely beneficial for brain fog. 

 

Those with post chemo brain fog will need clearance from their oncologist. HYDROVITA does not currently treat individuals with NAD while undergoing cancer treatment. We had this choice because NAD supports the body's immune system whereas cancer treatments' goal is often to shut down the immune system.

Have there been studies on the benefits of NAD? 

​

YES! In one study done on mice, increasing NAD levels cured blindness as well as, extended lifespan, as indicated by a decrease in chronic illness markers. 

​

There have been studies done on Parkinson's patients that showed a reduction of tremors, so much so that participants could feed themselves and write again. The study also showed an improvement in cognition, memory and decision making. 

​

NAD is the cutting anti-aging research. Many studies are being done on NAD precursors (which are molecules and enzymes in the body that increase NAD levels). More and more information will be coming out as more research is completed. 

​

Throughout the over 80 years that NAD infusions have been administered here have been no known negative consequences or contraindications. 

​

I am pregnant can I have NAD?

​

At this time, there are no studies on the effects of NAD while pregnant so HYDROVITA does not offer NAD to pregnant mothers. Those that are breastfeeding will be required to pump and dump for 24 hours.

Can I bill my insurance? 

​

No, HYDROVITA does not bill to insurance and these infusions are not covered by insurance.
